2ndSys ("we," "us," or "our") takes a narrow view of data collection. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you when you use 2ndsys.com, Find A Better Fit, 2ndSys products, or other 2ndSys services.

We collect information you provide directly through contact, scheduling, review, Find A Better Fit, and other forms. Depending on how you interact with 2ndSys, this may include your name, email address, phone number, role, company, LinkedIn profile, résumé link, current location, work preferences, opportunity interests, work authorization or sponsorship requirements, and other information you choose to provide.
We may also collect standard usage information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referral source, and time spent on our sites and services.
If you join Find A Better Fit, we collect the career and opportunity information you submit, along with your responses to five work scenarios concerning decision authority, state traceability, constraint visibility, failure containment, and adaptation capacity.
Joining Find A Better Fit is not an application for a specific job. Your profile is maintained as a private, reusable profile until you ask us to update, pause, or delete it, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.
We use information to provide and operate our services, respond to inquiries, schedule conversations, evaluate potential engagements, maintain Find A Better Fit profiles, identify opportunities that appear reasonably consistent with a participant’s profile, request authorization for introductions, communicate about requested or active services, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and improve our services.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analysis, research, service improvement, and reporting where it does not reasonably identify an individual.
Creating a Find A Better Fit profile authorizes 2ndSys to retain and review the profile and to contact you about potentially relevant opportunities. It does not authorize us to distribute your identifying information to recruiting partners generally.
We share identifying profile information with a recruiting partner only after you express interest in a specific opportunity and authorize that introduction. The opportunity notice may identify the partner, the employer when available, the information to be shared, and other relevant context.
Once information is shared at your direction, the receiving partner’s own privacy practices may apply. We encourage you to review those practices before proceeding.
Actor Profile responses provide context about how a person naturally responds to common coordination conditions. They are not a personality diagnosis, intelligence test, background check, or pass/fail employment screen. Find A Better Fit and 2ndSys.Hire do not use those responses to automatically rank, approve, reject, or recommend candidates.
If you share information about a company, transaction, initiative, system, operating issue, or possible review, we treat that information as confidential business context. We do not disclose the identity of the company or the nature of the inquiry without permission, except as required by law or reasonably necessary to operate our services. Paid engagements may be governed by separate agreements.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information to service providers that support website hosting, forms, spreadsheets, email, CRM, scheduling, analytics, security, and communications. Those providers receive information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for 2ndSys.
We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, to protect the rights or safety of 2ndSys or others, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.
We may use cookies and similar technologies to understand site usage, improve performance, support analytics, and maintain basic functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling them may affect your experience.
Data partners may use cookies or similar technologies to associate site activity with other information they hold. You may opt out of associated advertising through the applicable data partner's opt-out mechanism.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service you requested, maintain your Find A Better Fit profile, document authorizations and introductions, satisfy legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our services.
You may ask us to pause opportunity contact or delete your Find A Better Fit profile. Some records may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have provided, or ask us to pause Find A Better Fit opportunity contact, subject to legal, contractual, and operational limitations. You may opt out of marketing communications using the unsubscribe instructions in our emails.

2ndSys services are not directed to children under 13, and Find A Better Fit is intended for adults seeking professional opportunities. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Our sites and services may link to or use third-party services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, security, availability, or content. Information you provide directly to a recruiting partner, employer, scheduling service, or other third party is governed by that party’s policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services change. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
